Good Match Today Against Bishop Eustace ... But Great Learning Experience

I hope you all had a great learning experience today against a very good Bishop Eustace team. They will be ranked in the Courier Post top 20, between 4-8. Good competition helps to sharpen your tennis skills which we work on in practice.

I am proud of each one of you for going out there to improve and compete today. I see much talent, who can, with work ... experience confidence and success playing this sport. We're all at various points in the process of improvement as tennis players. By season's end we'll all share the improvement as a team and as individual tennis players.

I hope it was enjoyable as it was a great weather day, a great day to play. See you all tomorrow for our 130-330 tennis practice and we'll work to improve all the little things.

Here are two videos I want you to watch and then use in your tennis game. One is a drill and IMPORTANT explanation on the vital skill of using your knees and getting low to begin to strike the tennis ball. The 2nd video is on the 'volley,' ... about ball placement when you are playing at or near the net and receive a ball at different heights.
