Volley With Your Feet Video - We Ended Practice On A Good Note...GET TO COURTS ASAP TUESDAY FOR SHORT PRACTICE BEFORE SENECA ARRIVES

I wish we could have started as good as we ended. We have a big week and I know you knew how important it was to put in the practice time for our re-matches against Eustace and Seneca, but we'll move forward. Varsity players don't forget our running assignment after the match tomorrow.

Today's ending give me great confidence going into tomorrow's match against Seneca as i'm certain we'll all do well and a win is in our grasp. But for such an end of practice game to be worth wild, we have to put in the work on all the finer points. 'Little things make the big things happen.' AND you have to do such with more sincerity, not the half heartiness that I still see way to often.

I hope you'll all get a good night's sleep and please eat well, thus have a HQ breakfast and or lunch. You should never eat a meal within an hour and half before you go on the court for a match. Its better to be a little hungry on the court. You could always pack an apple, orange and or banana in you bag to eat during the match. Take little bites during change over, as such fruits have GOOD sugars and give you GOOD energy.

Please remember to HYDRATE/WATER and do so anytime past lunch, as such is a good foundation to have before you go on the court. Moreover not just while your on the court. Maybe have a gatorade and water while your on the court. It may be hot and or humid tomorrow.

Remember to play within yourself, and as I told all of you today, everyone's new middle name is CONSISTENCY. We start play at 75% of our maximum power, so to groove our strokes.

We always play the ball first, and we let the racquet do the majority of work for us so we build up a sense of feel for the ball against the strings. Our fingertips work in step with one's grip pressure. We never serve first and we choose the side with the wind in our face and the sun at our back.

Good luck and I'll be there tomorrow and for sure be your biggest fan and offer any support you need.
